Notice On Racism and Harassment

Even though this a free speech platform that allows unpopular and controversial opinions and news reports, overt racism and harassment has no place here. It is unprofessional, and just douchie. Don’t be a d**k! We want thoughtful, serious, intellectual conversations about local, state, national, and world events on this platform. Most of the people using our Services are local, San Luis Valley folks, and folks who have history, or roots in our beautiful Valley.

Racism and Harassment – to include religious affiliations – will not be tolerated in ANY FORM on this site, including the disparagement of people in the comments section. This includes so-called, ‘reverse racism’, where it has become acceptable to label white people, Christians and others with non-Leftist values, ‘white supremacists, white nationalists, fascists, nazis, etc.’ This is also a form of racism and harassment, and it will not be tolerated here.

To report overt racism and/or harassment, take a screenshot of the comment, copy article link, and email to [email protected], with the word ‘Abuse’ in the subject line. 

Any user found to be maliciously racist/harassing against ANY race, religion, or affiliation, can be banned immediately, and have their comments removed from the system.

You have been warned.

That said, not everything is racism or harassment or hate just because it hurts your feelings. This platform values the truth over your feelings. This platform will allow users to CRITICIZE, agree/disagree with ANY religion, group, or individual providing content on this platform, in accordance with the 1st Amendment enumerated in the US Constitution.

The point of this notice is to prevent conversations/discourse from devolving into juvenile mudslinging, malicious words, and harassment proliferating on this website.
