We don’t rely on advertising money. We don’t charge to post comments, or place ads on this website. We want to be free from the influences that cause so many other media outlets to censor unpopular views, and crap on the 1st Amendment.

We ourselves, don’t want to be harassed, doxxed and threatened by people who hate us for our political views. Using Bitcoin and Monero helps us to avoid that.

PayPal and the other major payment processors have been known to ‘freeze’ the accounts of people with the ‘wrong’ political views. Dissenters need a technology that gets around the censors without fear of having accounts seized. Bitcoin and Monero are the answer, currently.

Why Crypto?

Understandably, ALOT of people are suspicious of crypto currency, and for different reasons. For example, if you’re a Christian, there’s a chance that clergy, and other members of your church have an unfavorable, biblical, beast-system-like view of crypto. Others dislike it because it’s not tangible – you can’t touch it – like you can touch land, cash, or precious medals. Can you access it if there’s no power, or internet? Can the government just simply pass a law and ban it like they did gold? These are valid questions concerning crypto, for sure.

We’re not financial experts. We’re not asking you to invest in crypto’s. We’re asking you to please consider donating to us using 2 specific crypto currencies.

The SLV Gazette promotes Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR).

These crypto’s are billed as de-centralized, and ‘un-confiscatable’. Unless you live under a rock, we ALL saw in the last 8yrs – at least – how government banks, powerful big corp and big tech companies, and political activist types, collaborated to censor, de-platform, and de-bank people they didn’t like. 

If your Bitcoin and Monero, ‘is in your custody, and in your own wallet’, no one can just come in and confiscate it because powerful people hate you. It’s money that can continue to operate outside of the control of people that would seize your money to make you comply, or destroy you over politics. 

Don’t confuse BTC or XMR with central bank digital currencies (CBDC’s). CBDC’s are centralized. They’ll be controlled by the government, and Big Interests. They’ll control whatever you buy and wherever you buy it. And, if you’re not a good bootlicker, and if everyone hates you and doesn’t want their rep ruined just knowing you, they’ll just shut you off.

BTC and XMR aren’t owned by no one. And, for now, both are tradeable for fiat money, and are a store of value. More and more people are using both to exchange goods and services outside of totalitarian control in alternative marketplaces.

The SLV Gazette thinks that Bitcoin and Monero represent a collective move AWAY from the headlong tumble towards the techno-feudal slavery we are all currently heading for.
